LONDON – Today, following an intense period of due diligence and preparation, Diliger revealed it has extended its vendor research platform to cover wholesale banking technology.

The financial crisis coupled with increasing regulation has intensified the pressure on banks to find solutions to an increasing range of client demands. Diliger’s web-based vendor research service transforms vendor research ensuring there is a centralised and efficient mechanism for the exchange of information and that research is based on current data and is readily accessible at the point of need.

The Diliger platform is a central hub of vendor data, overlaid with analytical tools enabling meaningful research on current, frequently updated data. Diliger’s due diligence surveys have been meticulously developed in conjunction with iCST, a specialist consultancy in core banking technology.

This consolidated vendor information covers everything from vendor credentials to functionality and service capabilities and the service delivery due diligence. The information can be analysed through Diliger’s smart search tool, vendor profiles, vendor risk reports and product reports as well as comparison grids.

Christian Bower, CEO of Diliger, states “Since going live, Diliger has proved how it supports financial institutions make better more informed buying decisions and manage vendor risk and we are delighted to be extending our service to wholesale banking sector.” Roger Ward, Director, of iCST added “we recognised the potential of Diliger to provide a pre-eminent research resource for wholesale banking technology and it was the prospect, now realised, of making real-time supplier information available to the sector we service that encouraged us to engage in this project.”

Roger added that the platform “empowers banks, IT and business analysts like never before to use the internet to conduct research on vendors and determine with a strong level of accuracy which solutions belong on their list for further evaluation.“
