Surecomp appoints new Head of Digitization

London – Surecomp®, a leading global provider of trade finance solutions for banks and corporates, announced today that Lyron Wahrmann has joined the company as the head of digitization. Lyron, who will be based out of Surecomp’s Israel office, joins the company as an expert in his field and is coming from Citi Bank where he established their Technology Innovation Centre in Israel in 2011 and headed it until 2016. He will oversee and lead Surecomp’s digital operations and innovations.

Lyron will focus on bringing to our customers trade related technology solutions that will prepare them for tomorrow.” In his capacity as head of digitization, Lyron will lead Surecomp’s disruptive innovation efforts and work closely with the both new and prospective clients.

Wahrmann has a M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, as well as a B.A in Business Management and in International Relations from the Hebrew University. Outside of his work at Surecmop, Lyron lectures on the subject of financial technology at The Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. “I am thrilled to be a part of the Surecomp group”, said Lyron Wahrmann. “Digital is the future and that’s where Surecomp’s concentration is.
