HSBC Global Asset Management Announces New CEO

London, UK – HSBC Global Asset Management today announces the appointment of Nicolas Moreau as CEO.

Nicolas was most recently CEO of DWS, a leading European Asset Management company, and a Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank. Nicolas will join HSBC in September and be based in London.

After seven years as CEO, Sri Chandrasekharan will be moving into another senior role within the HSBC Group, which will be announced in due course.

Prior to DWS, Nicolas was Chairman and Chief Executive of AXA France and a member of the AXA Group Management Committee since 2009. From 2006 to 2010, Nicolas was Group Chief Executive of AXA UK and Ireland. During this time, he was also a member of the Board of the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and Chairman of the ABI Health committee.
