Implementing a Business Support Centre at AVIS Group

Four years after successfully implementing a shared service centre in Budapest, Avis decided that it needed to develop further efficiencies by implementing a standardised systems infrastructure. The company established the criteria for a financial software solution, ultimately opting for the ‘Neon’ version of Coda. The author describes the initial rollout in several European countries, summarises the benefits of the system and outlines the planned future stages.
