UniCredit announces two key appointments in Global Transaction Banking

UniCredit has announced two appointments at its Global Transaction Banking business, which take effect immediately. Luca Corsini will be the new Global Head of Trade Finance, and Elena Belli has been named as Head of GTB Business Management.

Luca Corsini, Global Head of Trade Finance
Luca Corsini will be responsible globally for the development of trade finance and supply chain finance products for corporate clients and financial institutions. He will support all Global Transaction Banking sales functions as well.

From 2006 until joining UniCredit this month, Corsini was Head of Trade Finance for the EMEA region excluding Germany at Deutsche Bank. After starting his career working in corporate banking at Snamprogetti / Saipem and Pirelli, Corsini went on to work for such international financial institutions as ABN Amro and Barclays in trade and export finance.

Corsini is based in Milan and reports to Claudio Camozzo and Jan Kupfer, the global Co-Heads of Global Transaction Banking at UniCredit.

Elena Belli, Head of GTB Business Management
Elena Belli, who joined UniCredit in 2001, will be responsible for GTB Business Management. In her most recent role at UniCredit, she led the Corporate Business Intelligence & Offer Strategy unit within Commercial Banking Italy. Prior to her experience there, Belli worked in a number of senior positions, including Head of Corporate Marketing, both at the local (Country Chairman Italy) and global (CIB Division) levels. She was also the Head of Research & Strategy within the CFO Department.

Belli is based in Milan and reports to Claudio Camozzo and Jan Kupfer, the global Co-Heads of Global Transaction Banking at UniCredit.
