In April this year, a panel of four experts led a lively discussion on China. Held in Singapore, the event was a networking evening organised by TMI, the Association of Corporate Treasurers in Singapore and Standard Chartered Bank. Over 80 corporate treasurers participated in an evening which encompassed a panel discussion and an exhibition. Kai Nargolwala, Group Executive Director Governance Asia at Standard Chartered, moderated the panel. Panellists included Tham Poh Cheong, a Director at International Enterprise Singapore, Philip Ting Chief Financial Officer at Hong Leong Asia Ltd and Lance Browne, Advisor to the Board at Standard Chartered. Sam Ong, the Treasurer of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) Singapore, welcomed everyone to the event on behalf of the ACT. He commented that members of the association looked forward to future network evenings and also, thanked all sponsors and exhibitors for their support.
