困难时期的财务改革

威百思特在全球有50多家子公司，更紧密地集中和协调财务工作已成为企业的当务之急。
过去的两年是很多产业的困难时期，其中汽车产业是受影响最深的产业之一。作为汽车制造业的供应商，威百思特公司也因整个欧盟、美国和日本的销售急降而少了大量订单。虽然一些大汽车厂获得国家支持，但这并不能帮到所有的供应商。由于订单取消或减少，很多供应商都遇到严重的流动性问题。我们看到一些竞争对手破产，同时，威百思特公司的部分供应商的流动性状况也很脆弱。不可避免的是，银行在能给这个行业里的公司多大支持的问题上也变得越来越谨慎。这也使我们担忧2010年要续期的融资问题。
财务工作愿景
多年来，威百思特公司的国际业务增长很快，集团旗下相当一部分公司在财务运营方面相对独立。威百思特在全球有50多家子公司，更紧密地集中和协调财务工作已成为企业的当务之急。公司对加强财务政策、流程及运营能力的愿望十分强烈。例如，当时我们还没有一套财务准则。我们也缺乏财务管理系统（TMS），所以，我们还没有办法掌握整个公司的月内整体流动资金状况。集团内部公司之间的财务互动太少，这使得我们很难在整个集团范围实现财务工作的协调。
我在加入威百思特公司之前，曾任职于西门子、诺基亚西门子通信等公司的财务部门，这些公司在财务管理方面处于行业领先地位。因此，我的目标是将这些经验引入威百思特公司，建立一个能体现最佳操作的财务部门，并提升公司财务工作的效率和控制力。我们的财务工作愿景有三大要素：第一，我们要将财务部门建成内部银行,可代表集团提供共享服务；第二，我们要更紧密地与子公司合作，这样我们就可以集中掌握现金状况，并制定统一的流动性策略；最后，我们要通过建立最佳操作政策和流程，以改善公司治理。
