The growth of money market funds within Europe
over the past five years has been dramatic, but the
banks and investment houses offering these funds
still feel there are a lot more potential clients out there,
particularly within the corporate sector. Mark Stockley
of JPMorgan Asset Management, observes that that
“Certainly, the belief that IMMFA’s members have is
that the market has gone through its infancy and it is
now into a more developed growth period, and there are
significant opportunities in a lot of marketplaces.”
